Brian Dobson at Clear Street sees real room to run. He reckons Michael Saylor's push to boost Bitcoin holdings per share, rather than just chasing raw BTC accumulation, could unlock substantial gains for Strategy's stock.
The math is tight. Strategy holds roughly 843,775 Bitcoin right now. That works out to about 210,824 satoshis per diluted share. The shift matters because it reframes how investors should think about the company, swapping focus from absolute Bitcoin stacks to what each shareholder actually owns.
Prediction markets are pricing this in already. The odds that Strategy stock hits $100 by year-end 2026 jumped to 47.5% this week, up meaningfully from earlier months. Money is flowing into that bet as traders take Dobson's comments seriously.
Saylor's approach differs from typical Bitcoin treasury plays. Instead of treating the stock as a Bitcoin proxy that rises and falls with BTC price alone, he's managing the capital structure to improve per-share exposure. Quarterly earnings matter less than whether the Bitcoin-to-share ratio keeps climbing. This nuance catches some analysts off guard because it assumes disciplined execution over years, not quarters.
What moves the needle now is whether Strategy keeps acquiring Bitcoin without massive dilution or whether Bitcoin itself accelerates higher. Prediction markets suggest traders believe in the first scenario more than they used to. Any major Bitcoin acquisition announcement could push those odds even higher. Conversely, a slowdown in BTC buys or a Bitcoin price collapse would flatten sentiment fast.
