In May 2026, Huang joined Trump’s CEO delegation to China after last-minute intervention by the president. That move underscored Nvidia’s key position in ongoing tech diplomacy efforts. Earlier in 2025, Huang had already presented Nvidia’s vision for domestic AI infrastructure at a White House event focused on boosting American investment in technology.
