TRON’s network handled over $90 billion in USDT stablecoin during the second quarter of 2026, reaching a fresh peak in digital asset transfers. This figure accounts for 47% of the total USDT dominance, marking TRON as a dominant player in stablecoin activity.
The network’s daily active users climbed to 3.5 million in Q2, up from 3.2 million in the previous quarter, showing steady engagement growth. Most strikingly, about 93% of TRON’s stablecoin volume came from peer-to-peer transfers, the largest share among all tracked blockchains.
Stablecoin market penetration also improved: TRON’s share rose to 28.7% from 27.3% in March, while the share of USDT transfers under $1,000 among native issuance chains increased from 43% to 52%, highlighting growing usage of smaller transactions.
Meanwhile, TRON’s influence in crypto payment cards expanded, with total crypto card volumes across all chains growing from $2.0 billion in Q1 to $2.4 billion in Q2. TRON captured 34% of this volume approximately $887 million solidifying its position as the top blockchain for crypto card activity.
The network’s progress extends beyond volume: integrations with over 150 blockchain networks reinforce TRON’s interoperability, and its involvement with emerging AI frameworks suggests expanding roles in decentralized finance and agentic technologies.
