Unibase jumped 61% over the past week, while Cardano added 24% and Algorand climbed 13%, making them the top performers among major altcoins in early August 2026. But all three now face critical resistance tests that will determine whether the rallies hold or reverse.

Unibase trades at $0.1943, up 11% in the last 24 hours, with its market cap sitting around $486 million. The AI memory layer token broke above a long-term descending line back on July 17 and has printed a clean sequence of higher highs and lows ever since, gaining roughly 140% from that breakout. The 0.236 Fibonacci level at $0.1928 is now in play. If buyers defend this area, the April peak near $0.2466 becomes the next target. On the downside, support arrives at the 0.382 Fib around $0.1595.

One problem: volume is declining even as the rally accelerates. The RSI sits near 70, edging into overbought territory, though no bearish divergence has appeared yet. That mismatch between price strength and volume confirmation is worth watching closely.

Cardano recovered 24% after bouncing from support at $0.15, where it landed following a sharp breakdown from a descending parallel channel in early June. That $0.15 level has now held four times. The real test comes at $0.20, where resistance converges with the 0.382 Fibonacci retracement at $0.2052 and the lower band of the broken channel. A break above $0.20 would open the door to $0.23, aligned with the 0.5 Fib at $0.2258. RSI is climbing with higher highs compared to early July, and rising volume backs the move.

Algorand gained 13% and trades at $0.0904. While modest compared to its peers, the token still faces resistance tests on its daily chart as momentum cools.
