Robinhood Chain’s tokenized assets recently jumped to nearly $70 million, marking a fivefold rise in just under two weeks. Early on, the platform resembled more of a memecoin playground than a serious marketplace for real-world equities, but that is swiftly changing.

Tokenized Stocks Gain Momentum

GameStop’s tokenized stock leads daily trading volume, clearing around $26.6 million each day on the network. Nvidia and SpaceX follow with $14 million and $6.4 million in daily volume, respectively. Currently, twelve tokenized stocks trade over $500,000 daily, and five of those surpass the $1 million mark. This marks a considerable shift from the initial stages when real-world assets made up just 4% of network activity.

Growing Network Activity and Market Composition

The total value locked (TVL) on Robinhood Chain has roughly tripled since mid-July, reaching approximately $312 million. Daily decentralized exchange volume now exceeds $600 million, positioning the chain among the most active crypto networks. Despite this, memecoins remain the main players in volume rankings with tokens like “Hoodrat,” “Vladhood,” and “Swole Doge” dominating trading activity. Tokenized stocks, despite the surge, still account for under 10% of DEX volume. Stablecoins maintain the largest share of trading activity.

CASHCAT, a memecoin tied to Robinhood's original name, experienced a rapid 1,700% spike after the CEO Vlad Tenev engaged with its account, followed by a sharp decline of about 75% from its peak. Meanwhile, transaction counts on the chain have topped 138 million over 30 days, highlighting solid user engagement.

Broader Trends in Real-World Asset Tokenization

The Robinhood Chain’s growth in on-chain RWAs is part of a wider trend across multiple blockchains. Avalanche’s tokenized asset value rose 22.6%, now totaling $2.5 billion. BNB Chain climbed 16.5% to $9.2 billion, while Cardano reported a 23.1% increase to $55.3 million. Ethereum remains the dominant platform with over $17 billion locked in real-world assets. The overall number of RWA holders across blockchains has grown to more than 1.09 million, nearly tripling from around 375,000.
