Pi Network has given its Mainnet validators until August 11 to finish installing the version 26 upgrade. This update is key, as validators need it to stay synced with the blockchain and keep the network running smoothly. The developers have been steadily rolling out improvements, with version 26 representing the penultimate step before the final upgrade, version 27.
Interestingly, version 25 was quietly deployed earlier without a formal announcement. But the launch of version 26 confirms that version 25 is fully live on the network now. This marks the latest in a series of eight upgrades since February, showing the team’s commitment to refining the system.
Meanwhile, the PI token price has bounced back from a recent dip, trading around $0.082. Buyers successfully defended a key support level, pushing the price above a short-term resistance line. This recovery adds some optimism for the project as it nears its major protocol milestones.
