Ondo Finance’s ONDO token is gaining strength, fueled by a surge in interest around real-world asset (RWA) tokenization and a milestone hit by its perpetual trading platform. The token currently trades at around $0.41, backed by a hefty $112 million in daily volume and a market cap nearing $2 billion. This momentum reflects growing investor confidence as the project builds on expanding demand for platforms bridging traditional assets with blockchain.
Crypto analyst Crypto Patel points out ONDO’s recent price action as a sign of macro accumulation, suggesting the token may be setting up for a fresh bullish cycle after pulling back from previous highs. Traders eye a key resistance level near $0.95, with a break above possibly unlocking targets of $1, $5, or even $10. The current accumulation zone shows bullish order flow, indicating some buyers are stepping in to defend support.
Meanwhile, Ondo Perps, the project’s derivatives platform focusing on RWAs, just surpassed $5 billion in total trading volume. This milestone highlights a rising appetite for RWA-based financial instruments, signaling growing institutional interest in blockchain-enabled asset tokenization. As more organizations look to tokenize tangible assets, Ondo’s ecosystem could become a critical hub connecting traditional finance and decentralized markets.
The trajectory of ONDO will likely hinge on sustained buying pressure and whether the token can convincingly clear resistance points. The continued rise in RWA adoption and derivatives volume may provide the catalyst needed to propel the token higher.
ONDO price edged up modestly in early trading following the volume announcement.
