On July 28, Nexo announced it has teamed up with two MiCA-licensed companies, Tangany and DLT Finance, to secure compliance across the European Economic Area as the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets regulations take effect.

Nexo’s Chief Product Officer, Yasen Yankov, said the company spent years preparing for MiCA and chose these partners for their strong regulatory backgrounds, technical capabilities, and high client protection standards.

Under this new setup, Tangany will handle institutional custody services, while DLT Finance provides the brokerage infrastructure needed for crypto asset trading and other financial instruments.

Nexo’s strategy blends its global wealth platform with fully regulated European infrastructure, enabling it to offer custody and trading services that meet the bloc’s fresh regulatory requirements. Yankov emphasized that Europe remains central to Nexo’s broader ambitions and that the transition has been smooth, with no interruptions to service.

Martin Kreitmair, CEO of Tangany, described the partnership as a blueprint for institutions aiming to navigate the European market under the post-MiCAR framework. Meanwhile, Alan Kennedy from DLT Finance highlighted the importance of smooth infrastructure that clients can rely on without hassle.
