Barcelona's asking price sits 2.2 times higher than his Transfermarkt valuation of €18 million as of June 2026. The gap matters. It shows the Catalan club isn't scrambling for cash. Hansi Flick has greenlit the sale as part of his broader squad overhaul, but only on terms that convert years of La Masia development into real asset value.
Casadó's contract runs through June 2028. Two years of runway left on a deal is use Barcelona can use. A player with six months remaining would fetch far less. Inter gets a controllable midfielder for a decade-plus campaign across Serie A and European competition. Barcelona gets to monetize its youth infrastructure spend. Both clubs have structural reasons to make this work.
