FXStreet has rolled out Propinder, a free comparison tool aimed at traders looking to find prop trading challenges tailored to their experience, risk appetite, trading platform, and location. The tool organizes key challenge terms clearly, letting traders review them ahead of any financial commitment.

How Propinder Matches Traders to Suitable Challenges

The process starts with a brief profiling questionnaire that takes under two minutes. Traders share details about their experience level, preferred platforms, risk tolerance, and residency. Propinder then uses anonymized aggregated data from users with similar profiles to generate a shortlist of potential prop trading challenges.

Instead of predicting success or suggesting specific programs to buy, Propinder focuses on transparency, presenting key challenge details such as drawdown calculations, loss limits, time restrictions, allowed instruments, and news event trading rules.

Reactions and Industry Impact

Unlike typical directories, Propinder is independent and does not allow prop firms to buy better rankings. Listings are created solely from publicly available information and profiles derived by the tool’s methodology. This approach aims to prevent bias in how challenges are presented.

Javier Hertfelder, CEO of Propinder, told FXStreet, "We want traders to fully understand the conditions before paying any fees." The platform covers various prop trading models, including instant funding, evaluation challenges, and futures programs.

Propinder was developed jointly with trading technology provider Swiset, known for trader profiling and performance analytics, while FXStreet oversees the overall product and its commitment to clarity. The service is free for traders, making the complex landscape of prop trading challenges more navigable.
