CrypFine, a global digital asset trading platform, has completed integrating the Travel Rule protocol with Coinone, a major South Korean crypto exchange. This update officially adds CrypFine as a virtual asset service provider recognized by Coinone’s CODE Travel Rule system.

The integration, effective since 14:00 KST on July 20, 2026, means Coinone users withdrawing digital assets valued at KRW 1 million or more to CrypFine can now verify their identity and transfer information directly through the CODE system. This streamlines processes, removing the need for separate wallet registrations or whitelist approvals when moving funds between the two platforms.

The Travel Rule is essential for anti-money laundering compliance in the digital asset sector. Now connected through CODE, CrypFine and Coinone can securely share user identity and transaction data, allowing smoother asset transfers for their customers. Still, users must ensure their Coinone and CrypFine accounts belong to the same person and that registered identity information matches across both platforms. The supported assets and transaction options should be checked on the live pages of each platform to confirm current details.

Advancing Compliance in South Korea’s Regulated Market

South Korea enforces some of the strictest regulations worldwide for virtual asset services, demanding thorough identity verification and AML controls. CrypFine joining Coinone’s Travel Rule network marks a key milestone in its efforts to embed within the country’s tightly regulated ecosystem.

Kim, a spokesperson for CrypFine, highlighted that the partnership not only makes transfers more smooth for Coinone users but also signals improved collaboration in verifying user identities and fighting financial crime.
