BitMine Immersion Technologies boosted its Ethereum holdings this week by acquiring 9,946 ETH, pushing its total stash to 5,787,414 ETH as of July 26, 2026. This acquisition means BitMine now controls roughly 4.8% of all circulating Ethereum tokens, edging closer to its goal of owning 5% of the network’s supply.
The company has maintained a relentless purchasing strategy since June 2025, buying Ethereum every single week without interruption. This steady accumulation reflects a long-term institutional commitment, especially since 85% of their holdings about 4.9 million ETH are staked, generating an estimated annualized yield of $254 million at the current price of roughly $1,948 per token.
BitMine’s entire crypto portfolio is valued at $11.8 billion, which includes not only Ethereum but also 208 Bitcoin, a $180 million position in Beast Industries, and $61 million in Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS), along with $268 million in cash and marketable securities. Within the industry, BitMine ranks as the largest holder of Ethereum and the second largest crypto treasury trailing only Strategy Inc., which holds a massive Bitcoin treasury.
Chairman Tom Lee highlighted recent market signals supporting the move: the ETH/BTC ratio climbed to a three-month high of 0.3000, and Ethereum hit a 10-week price peak, showing strengthening momentum. Meanwhile, the firm’s active staking demonstrates confidence in Ethereum’s future, as locking up such a significant share of assets restricts liquidity and signals a commitment beyond short-term trading.
