Markets barely budged overnight. Bitcoin sat at $64,392, up just over 1% in 24 hours but treading water for the week at plus 0.91%. Ethereum couldn't catch momentum either, hovering near $1,873 with a flat day and a 1.84% weekly loss. The real story was elsewhere. BNB jumped 1.81% daily and 5.46% for the week, outpacing the two giants while most alts stayed glued to their ranges.
Solana slipped to $74.14, continuing its recent downtrend, while XRP barely registered movement at $1.07, flat across seven days. The divergence matters. When Ethereum limps and Solana stumbles, money isn't rotating into smaller plays, it's sitting on the sidelines. BNB's outperformance suggests some institutional appetite for Binance ecosystem bets, but the volume numbers tell you it's not conviction, just rotation.
This is the pattern we've seen for weeks now. Bitcoin holds support, refuses to fall hard, but also can't push past resistance. Ethereum follows its lead. Meanwhile, major holders are locking ETH into staking, a sign some players believe in longer timeframes even if spot price action looks flat. That's the real signal underneath the overnight moves, not the decimal swings.
This recap covers price movements and market activity only. Not financial advice, just what happened in the markets.
