Trading activity around Binance Coin (BNB) surged sharply, with 24-hour volume climbing over 65 percent as investors revisit the token linked to one of the largest crypto exchanges. Spot volume hit more than $160 million, while futures contracts saw activity above $800 million, signaling renewed interest amid a recovering market phase.

Open interest for BNB futures remains elevated near $950 million, showing traders are increasing their exposure instead of exiting positions. Data from exchanges reveal a dominant bullish sentiment, with the ratio of long to short positions holding steady above 1.9 across major platforms. This suggests that optimism about BNB's prospects has strengthened alongside rising volumes.

Binance's ecosystem fuels BNB demand

The uptick in trading corresponds with a boost in activity throughout Binance's ecosystem, where the exchange retains its lead by daily BNB volume, topping $430 million and outstripping rivals such as OKX, Bybit, and Bitunix. The token's role remains central to Binance’s fee discounts, ecosystem incentives, and on-chain functions, supporting its appeal among users.

Technically, BNB recently surpassed its 50-day and 100-day moving averages, creating support around $575 576. This technical improvement mirrors the bullish positioning seen on the trading desks.

Bitcoin ETFs attracted strong inflows even as prices dipped, showing that certain crypto assets are drawing investor attention despite broader market fluctuations.
